DLD Home Improvements is a licensed and insured general contractor owned and operated by Demetrius Lewis Drew Sr. We provide commercial and residential general contracting and property services across Connecticut, Springfield Massachusetts, and Albany New York. Our services include, among others:

General contracting (commercial and residential)
Residential remodeling, kitchen and bathroom renovation, flooring installation
Commercial build-outs, carpentry, shelving, and commercial door installation
Concrete and masonry, paving, and stone crushing
Fencing and guardrail installation
Painting and power washing
Landscaping, lawn care, mulching, tree removal, and shrub removal
Clean outs, bulk trash removal, and dump runs
Snow removal and ice management

Service availability may vary by location and season.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use this website to request services. By using the website, you represent that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate and current.

3. Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You agree not to:

5. Service Agreements and Estimates

5.1 Separate Written Agreement Controls

All contracting work we perform is governed by a separate written contract, proposal, or estimate signed by both you and DLD Home Improvements (the "Service Agreement"). The Service Agreement, together with any change orders, sets out the binding terms of the work, including scope, price, payment schedule, materials, timeline, and warranties. If anything in these Terms conflicts with a signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement controls with respect to that work.

5.2 Estimates

Estimates are based on the information available and the conditions known at the time they are prepared. They are valid only for the period stated on the estimate. If hidden conditions, changes in scope, code requirements, material availability, weather, or other factors affect the work, the price and schedule may need to be adjusted. Where reasonably possible, we will discuss any material adjustments with you before proceeding, typically through a written change order.

5.3 Scheduling

Submitting a request through the website, by phone, or by email does not guarantee that we will accept the project or perform work by any particular date. Scheduling is confirmed only when both parties agree in writing. Project timelines may be affected by weather, permitting, inspections, material delays, and other factors outside our control.

5.4 Permits and Compliance

Where a project requires permits or inspections, responsibility for obtaining them will be set out in the Service Agreement. We perform work in accordance with applicable building codes and licensing requirements for the jurisdictions we serve.

6. Quotes, Communications, and Consent to Contact

When you submit a request through the website, by phone, by text, or by email, you authorize DLD Home Improvements to contact you about your inquiry using the contact information you provide, including by phone, email, and text message. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time, though we may still contact you regarding an active project or estimate.

7. Payments

Payment terms for any project are set out in the applicable Service Agreement. Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Invoices are due as specified in the Service Agreement.
Deposits or progress payments may be required before or during the work.
Late payments may be subject to fees or interest as permitted by law and as stated in the Service Agreement.
We may suspend work on a project if payments are not made when due.

Any payment information submitted online is processed by third-party payment processors subject to their own terms and security practices.

8. Warranties on Work

Any warranty on workmanship or materials is set out in your signed Service Agreement, not on this website. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products are provided by the applicable manufacturers and are subject to their terms. Except as expressly stated in a signed Service Agreement or required by law, we make no warranties regarding the work.

9. Intellectual Property

The DLD Home Improvements name, logo, text, images, graphics, project photographs, layout, and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to DLD Home Improvements and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and use the website for your personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent. Photographs of completed projects remain our property unless agreed otherwise in writing. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DLD Home Improvements and its owner, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of this website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute relating to this website are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute relating to this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Disputes relating to actual contracting work are governed by the dispute resolution terms set out in the applicable Service Agreement, which may differ from this Section.

15. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, any signed Service Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and DLD Home Improvements regarding your use of this website, and supersede any prior understandings on that subject.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the most recent version took effect. Significant changes may be posted on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
